COSAC Chairpersons' meeting

3 – 4 July 2025

The COSAC Chairpersons’ meeting is a forum for the chairpersons of the European Affairs Committees from the national parliaments of the EU countries and representatives from the European Parliament. The purpose of the COSAC Chairpersons' meeting is to discuss current European political issues and to prepare for the COSAC plenary meeting, which will be held later in the year.  

CFSP/CSDP

26 – 28 August 2025

At the interparliamentary conference on foreign, security, and defence policy (CFSP/CSDP), parliamentarians from the EU member states and members of the European Parliament meet to discuss current political issues related to the EU's common foreign and security policy. 

Interparliamentary Conference on the Future of the EU’s Food Systems

11 – 12 September 2025

The Danish Parliament's Climate, Energy and Utilities Committee, together with the Environment and Food Committee, is hosting an interparliamentary conference under the Danish EU presidency. The purpose of the conference is to bring together parliamentarians from the EU to discuss sustainable food production and supply security.

Interparliamentary Conference on Competitiveness 

18 – 19 September 2025

Europe finds itself in a changing world. Global trade is shifting character, geopolitical conditions are in upheaval, and technological development is accelerating. Therefore, the Danish Parliament’s Business Committee wishes to gather European parliamentarians for a discussion on how innovation can better form the foundation for the EU's competitiveness, economic security, and societal transformation.

29 – 30 September 2025

The interparliamentary conference on stability, economic coordination, and governance in the EU aims to exchange information and experiences on how the EU’s work on economic policy is implemented. 

Interparliamentary Conference on Digitalisation

3–4 November 2025

Digitalisation is a high-priority topic in Denmark and the EU. The Danish Parliament’s Committee for Digitalisation and IT is hosting a conference focused on this very issue. Parliamentarians from EU countries, together with members of the European Parliament, are invited to discuss the regulation of digital services and the relationship between regulation and innovation. 

Plenary meeting of COSAC

30 november – 2 December 2025

The plenary meeting of COSAC brings together members of the European affairs committees from the national parliaments of EU member states and the European Parliament. Representatives from the candidate countries and other EU institutions participate as observers. COSAC also enables national parliamentarians to regularly discuss current European political issues.
