Accreditations for events under the parliamentary dimension of the Danish EU presidency

Members of the press have the possibility to cover conferences and activities under the parliamentary dimension of the Danish EU presidency.
 

Practical information

 

To apply for press accreditation, you must have either a valid Danish or an international press card.

Your application for press accreditation must be sent to Jesper Tidemann at [email protected]. In your application, you must specify:

  • Which event do you wish to be accredited for
  • Full name
  • Country of origin
  • The media outlet that you represent

Applications for press accreditation must be submitted no later than five days before the event. You will be notified whether your request for press accreditation has been granted once we’ve processed your application.

Upon arrival, accredited members of the press will receive an access card for the event after they’ve presented a valid press card. The access card grants access to public areas and the press room. It must always be worn and visible.

At each event, there will be a press room where members of the press can work. In the press room, you’ll find the necessary technical equipment as well as coffee, tea and water. It is not permitted to take photos or videos in the press room.  

 

Accredited members of the press are permitted to take photos and video during the plenary meetings and in allotted places for photography. It is, however, not permitted to take photos or videos in meeting rooms, areas where food and drinks are consumed and in areas which are considered private. 

Interviews must be arranged with the individual participants.

During events that take place at Christiansborg Palace (The Danish Parliament), the following rules apply:

At some events, there will be barriers or areas where the press is directed to stay. You must follow the instructions communicated by the Parliament's staff in connection with your participation in the event.
